Anyone who has visited Ohiopyle knows how lucky we are to have this unique paradise at our fingertips. When people who have never been here say to me, "So, you're from southwestern Pennsylvania. What is so special about that?" (Many Philadelphians feel this side of PA is not even in "their" state). I tell them there is no place like this. Yes, our country and our world includes millions of wonderfully scenic areas, BUT...

Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania must be experienced. It is the way those negative ions spewing from the falls make you feel, that brings us all back. Go there soon and you will return often. When they cleared the trees so that you could see the falls when entering town from the Meadow Run side, I felt blessed. At first, I was not happy about the change, but when I come down the hill there and see those falls roaring, I know I am home.
